Rhys Davies

Rhys worked as a Constituency Organiser for Plaid in the Carmarthen East and Dinefwr constituency between 2004 and 2007. In this post he played a leading role in organising the election campaigns of the Assembly Member Rhodri Glyn Thomas and the former Member of Parliament Adam Price.

Following his time as Constituency Organiser, Rhys was employed as a Community Development Officer with Menter Cwm Gwendraeth between 2007 and 2010. This post involved working closely with businesses, community groups and charities. He currently works as a Case Officer for Rhodri Glyn Thomas AM and Jonathan Edwards. Rhys has been a County Councillor in the County of Carmarthenshire since 2004 representing the Llanfihangel Aberbythych Ward. He was elected as a County Councillor at the age of 24 and was re-elected in 2008. Rhys is actively involved within his community and can speak with credibility and authenticity for all of the communities of Mid and West Wales.
