Liz Musa

Liz Musa is the Plaid Cymru candidate for Cardiff South & Penarth constituency in the Welsh National Election to be held on the 5th May 2011. She can be contacted via e-mail at LizMusa@plaidcymru.org .

Liz Musa was born in Riverside, Cardiff in November 1952 to a Welsh mother and Nigerian father. She has lived in Cardiff all her life, and is married with children and grandchildren.

Liz has worked supporting older people for many years firstly as a care assistant at Roathsea House Residential home and then for ten years as Sheltered Housing Manager at Nelson House in the heart of Butetown.

Liz is currently a Support Worker with Bawso Women’s Aid assisting families from all over the world settle into their adopted home of Wales. Liz has always been involved with community issues since Butetown became a Priority Estate Programme back in the 1980s- she is currently Sectary of her local Residents Association.

In May 2010 Liz took up a position as Voluntary Board Member of the Cardiff and Vale Community Health Council. She is a fervent believer in social justice for all.
