Together, we can make Wales better

Dear friend,

Since my election as leader I have been overwhelmed by the warmth and support I’ve received from the membership.

There have been many firsts for me - I've delivered my first party conference speech as leader, seen my first set of elections, gone through my first Assembly term and plenty of First Minister's Questions sessions by now.  I've paid my first visits to Scotland and London as Plaid Cymru's Leader and the first piece of work on the economy has been published recently - Offa's Gap.

Work has started to build up the party - long term policy commissions have been set up using some of the party's best talents.  We have started putting the building blocks in place for a new network of community champions and the majority of the recommendations of Dr Eurfyl ap Gwilym’s Moving Forward review are being implemented. We are a team ready and eager to work together to move Plaid forward to be as effective and as efficient as possible.

The task ahead is a big one that will cost money. I’m asking if you will please join in with me and donate today. We’ve set an ambitious target of raising £15,000 in this year’s Glyndŵr appeal and we are asking you to be part of this by donating as little or as much as you can spare.

If you have never donated before then join me in a period of firsts and donate to move Plaid forward.

 Leanne Wood, Plaid Leader
